Why this exists
Ontario already publishes a great deal about its long-term care homes, but it is spread across different systems and written for regulators. We bring those records together for each home and present them in clearer, easier-to-read formats: plain-language summaries, charts that set a home's figures beside the Ontario average, and a year-by-year history, with a link to every original report. The goal is to help you find and follow a home's record, and to point you to the official documents you can read in full before making any decision.
Our principles
Everything we publish is sourced from the Ministry of Long-Term Care or Health Quality Ontario, attributed, and dated, with a link to the original.
We do not score, rate, or rank homes, and we do not publish top 10 or worst lists. Figures are shown beside the Ontario average; the judgement is yours.
